From concept to finished circuit board thanks to Altium Europe

For 4 years we are in the lucky position to develop our circuit boards with Altium Designer. During the current season we work with ten licenses for the latest Altium Designer 15 version.

Altium Europe GmbH represents Altium Limited in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Initially founded in Australia 1985 Altium Limited is pioneer in circuit board development software. The first three-dimensional PCB-Design toll was published in 1997. Having roughly 400 employees the companies headquarter is located in San Diego since 2014.

The software offers outstanding tools for every stage of development. From drawing the schematic with an individual part-library, simulation of the circuit till doing the layout – no wish stays unanswered. Very important in motor sports is the 3D-modell of the complete vehicle. Here, Altium Designer helps with a powerful tool. Within an external CAD software the geometry of the PCB can be determined and later be imported to Altium Designer as .step file to build the circuit board exactly. When finishing a project the Design-Rule-Check helps to find and repair mistakes before the output data, e.g. Gerber files, are generated.
