Preimpregnated fibres from SGL

A small part of our Frame & Body sub team was able to visit the SGL GROUP in Meitingen at the beginning of December. The main goal was pre-impregnating our fibres. They will be used to build the 7th monocoque in the beginning of January 2015.
During the running process we were able to visit the premises of SGL and have a look on some production lines.
SGL GROUP is a reliable partner of our team since several years. Without this partner we were not able to build such high quality CFRP parts for our cars.
At this point we want to thank the SGL GROUP, especially Reiner Bode, for impregnating our fibres and the beautiful framework programme. We hope for some further years of this uncomplicated and unstressed cooperation. We wish you all the best for the future.
