Control and measurement systems from National Instruments

We are glad to welcome National Instruments as one of our premium sponsors again in this season. Founded in the US in 1976, NI was one of our premium sponsors in previous seasons. National Instruments provides engineers and scientists with tools with which they can be more productive, innovative and creative.
This will continue the, since 2011 already existing, very good cooperation. Equally as last season, we will use a single board of Rio National Instruments for complete vehicle control. This will be programmed with LabView, a programming language that allows us to apply the vehicle by using a graphical user interface.
Furthermore, we are very excited about the “Virtual Bench”, a 5-in-1 gauge which combines the most important gauges and be read with PC or tablet.
Also the on the VIP 2014 published RIO SOM (System on a module) has been provided to us by National Instruments. Due to the incipient collaboration with teams from Darmstadt and Munich, this could take over the vehicle control in the coming years.
