The Insulation Monitoring Devices (short: IMD) of Bender GmbH & Co. KG supervises the state of insulation between high voltage components and the grounded low voltage System continuously. In case of an error the IMD separates the accumulator from the rest of the vehicle reliably.
With that, we achieve the highest safety possible for the driver and the race engineers in all periods of service.
